Eleven student members serve as the Student Services Fee Advisory Board, and are responsible for reviewing funding proposals. Seven undergraduate students and four graduate and professional students serve the board, representing ASUA, GPSC, and the student body at large.
Five advisors also serve the board: a budget office representative, ASUA and GPSC presidents, the Student Affairs and Enrollment Management finance director, and an administration representative. These members provide useful insight about the needs of the campus community, lend their expertise and services in executing board directives, and report noteworthy board developments back to their respective departments and constituents. The addition of these professional UA staff strengthens the board by providing the necessary communication between students and administrators.
Board applications are open for submission in late February or early March for appointment cycles beginning in the Fall Semester. This site will be updated with exact dates and deadlines when the Board Member application process is open.
The Governing Documents for the Student Services Fee Advisory Board have been finalized and are available for review.
