UA South Scholarship Sees Perfect Graduation Rates

Education Unidos provides scholarship funding for students of Mexican heritage at UA Douglas, a campus that falls under the umbrella of the University of Arizona South. The scholarship awards $12,000 to students through financial support from the Mexican government and the UA South Foundation.

The program brings both nations together to support students. Best of all, the scholarship is working -- since its inception four years ago, every single award recipient has gone on to successfully graduate from the UA.

Today, Education Unidos has been embraced by the local community. The program continues to evolve to this day, with educators working to add educational opportunities for UA Douglas students through UA Study Abroad. In the near future, Education Unidos will look to expand as a part of the UA's 100% Engagement Initiative.
