UA, Apple Host Everyone Can Code Event

Coding is an essential skill that helps students unlock their creativity, develop problem-solving skills, and discover new career paths. Next Thursday, October 19th, the University of Arizona in partnership with Apple, will host Everyone Can Code, a new approach to coding that gives everyone the power to learn, write, and teach code.

The event is open to all K-20 schools, district leaders, and curriculum specialists. Participants can expect to hear about the new Swift Playgrounds app that offers lessons for beginning coders, including curriculm material for middle and high school students. 

Everyone Can Code illustrates the UA's continuing efforts to bolster career readiness by supporting student educational innovation for students and economic development opportunities in the community. In addition, providing students with the digital literacy and real-world-ready experiences to work in STEM fields.
