UA to Open Coding Boot Camp In Gilbert

Earlier this week, the University of Arizona and the Town of Gilbert announced an agreement to create a new coding boot camp in the East Valley area. The partnership is a critical investment in the future success of Arizona's workforce, filling market needs for web developers and tech professionals in one of the top high-tech areas in the Southwest.

UA's Coding Boot Camp is a leading-edge program designed to teach students the basics of web-development skills in a span of just 24 weeks. These skills are in high demands in the East Valley, which is home high-impact businesses such as Intel, Amazon, and Boeing. In addition to creating a quality talent pipeline and educated workforce in the state, the agreement will also expand Gilbert's technology base.

Earlier this year, the UA and Chandler agreed to create a similar program.
