UA Online Launches MS Cybersecurity Program

The University of Arizona recently announced the launch of a new online Master’s degree program in cybersecurity. The 33-credit program is available entirely online and draws from the curriculum of UA’s top ranked Eller Management Information Systems (MIS) program as well as the Electrical & Computer Engineering and Systems & Industrial Engineering programs.

The announcement comes at a critical time for companies and organizations alike as cyber crimes are expected to triple over the next five years, according to a recent report by Cybersecurity Ventures.

Students interested in the program can expect to learn how to assess, prevent, and manage information and systems security-related risks by applying systems security management and post-breach practices through hands-on, interactive classes.
