UA Leaders in International Education, Partnerships

The University of Arizona stands out as a leading example of how institutions of higher education can best serve the needs of international students, according to a recent article by Education Dive.

Through its innovative “micro-campus” model and dual enrollment program, the UA provides students from all around the world access to a world-class education and the ability to earn dual degrees which are conferred by Arizona and a partner university.

This is especially important today because many international students are wary of studying in the United States due to political tensions regarding immigration. But through innovative international partnerships such as that of the UA, universities can alleviate these concerns and create a positive impression for interested students, says Pat Donachie of Education Dive.

Over the next three years, the UA plans to open more than 25 micro-campuses at international partner universities, creating a global network that is capable of educating more than 25,000 students around the globe.
