Annual SAEM/AISS Symposium

We're always thinking ahead. That's why each year we host a symposium for our staff to focus on current trends in higher education.

Change the story, Change the world

The 11th Annual SAEM/AISS Symposium will be held on Thursday, November 9th, 2017 - REGISTER HERE

Since we first began talking to each other, telling stories has been a powerful way to capture attention, engage an audience, and motivate them to act. As we learn more about how our brains work, we are also discovering that stories are intrinsic to decision-making and shaping our view of the world. In “Change the Story, Change the World,” Andy Goodman will explain why storytelling remains the single most powerful communication tool you possess, and he will offer specific ways your organization can use stories to advance your mission.

Andy Goodman is a nationally recognized author, speaker and consultant who has been invited to speak at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public Affairs, Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, and at numerous non-profit and foundation conferences.
