UA to Host Consortium on Gender-Based Violence

The University of Arizona will host its first ever consortium on gender-based violence to address complex issues surrounding the epidemic of gender-based violence and marginalized populations. The consortium will take place in the Student Union Memorial Center, Nov. 3rd from 6:30 p.m. to 9: 30 p.m., and Nov. 4th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

UA faculty, staff, students as well as Tucson community leaders, activists, health and legal advocates will be on hand to provide their expertise and participate in discourse that will help attendees learn about the the daily impact of gender-based violence and what they can personally do to make a difference.

The Daily Wildcat recently wrote a great preview of the consortium. Read all about it here! And to learn more about the gender-based violence consortium, click here
