University of Arizona and Arizona Library Association Sign Agreement

Recently, the University of Arizona and Arizona Library Association (AzLA) signed an agreement that will provide AzLA members with discounts to UA Online degree programs. Such an understanding opens new access pathways for AzLA members, mitigating barriers such as time and financial constraints.

The announcement comes at a timely juncture for many employees as the UA was recently ranked by U.S. News & World Report as third in the West and 22nd overall in Library and Information Studies. This degree is vital for future librarians looking to work in schools, government agencies, and hospitals.

Through this agreement with UA Online, AzLA professionals will have the opportunity to pursue advanced degrees such as the Library and Information Studies program, as well as other undergraduate and graduate degrees at a 10 percent discount.

The partnership showcases one of the ways UA is working across the spectrum of organizations to support student and employee success in the state.

Moving forward, UA Online and AzLA will continue to work closely together to ensure students are receiving a meaningful and fulfilling educational experience.
